Ingredients
3½ cups whole spelt flour (or sprouted)
½ cup quick cooking rolled oats
¼ cup sesame seeds
2 tbsps baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
2 cups almond milk, warmed
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
¼ cup quick cooking rolled oats
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Grease (with coconut oil) and flour a 9×5 loaf pan.
- Mix the spelt flour, oats, sesame seeds, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
- Heat milk, and mix whisk together with honey and oil well.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan.
- Sprinkle the ¼ cup rolled oats over the top, then gently press into the batter.
- Bake for 65 min.
- Let cool completely.
- Invert the pan and gently remove the bread from the loaf pan, then slice.
